Free Trial Terms
Terms governing free trial and evaluation access to Frontal's Services.

These Free Trial Terms ("Trial Terms") govern your access to and use of free trial, evaluation, and proof-of-concept access to Frontal Labs, Inc. ("Frontal," "we," "us," or "our") Services. These Trial Terms supplement the Terms of Service. By signing up for a free trial, you agree to these Trial Terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. TRIAL ELIGIBILITY AND SCOPE
1.1 Free trials are available to new Customers who have not previously subscribed to the same or substantially similar Services. We may limit trial eligibility at our discretion.
1.2 The trial period, features, and usage limits are specified at the time of sign-up. The trial period begins on the date you create your trial Account.
1.3 Unless otherwise stated, free trials provide access to a limited subset of Services or impose usage caps. Features designated as enterprise-only, dedicated infrastructure, premium support, or professional services are excluded from trials unless explicitly included.
1.4 We may modify, suspend, or terminate a free trial at any time without notice or liability. We may decline to provide a free trial to any applicant at our discretion.
1.5 Each organization or individual is limited to one free trial for each Service, unless we approve otherwise in writing.
2. TRIAL PROVISIONS
2.1 No Fees. The trial is provided at no charge during the trial period. You are responsible for any third-party costs incurred in connection with the trial, including internet service, hardware, and third-party software.
2.2 No Warranty. THE TRIAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE WARRANTY PROVISIONS OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE DO NOT APPLY TO FREE TRIALS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
2.3 No SLA. Free trials are excluded from all service level commitments. The Service Level Agreement and Enterprise Service Level Agreement do not apply. No uptime, availability, performance, or support response time commitments apply.
2.4 No Indemnification. Our indemnification obligations under the Terms of Service do not apply to free trials. We will not defend or indemnify you for claims arising from your use of a free trial.
2.5 Liability Cap. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO A FREE TRIAL IS LIMITED TO $100 USD. The exclusions from the liability cap in Section 11.3 of the Terms of Service remain applicable to free trials, including for breach of confidentiality, intellectual property infringement, gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, and liability that cannot be limited by law.
2.6 Support. Free trials receive support at the Free Tier level described in the Support Terms. No guaranteed response times apply.
2.7 Data Deletion. Upon expiration or termination of a trial, all Customer Data in the trial Account will be deleted in accordance with our Data Disposal Policy. We have no obligation to maintain or provide trial data after trial expiration. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain before trial expiration.
3. CONVERSION TO PAID SUBSCRIPTION
3.1 Before the trial period ends, you may be invited to convert to a paid subscription. If you do not convert, your access to the Services will end at the conclusion of the trial period.
3.2 Before the trial period ends, we will send a reminder inviting you to convert to a paid subscription. To continue using the Services after the trial, you must provide a valid payment method and affirmatively confirm your conversion to a paid plan. Your payment method will be charged at then-current pricing upon your confirmed conversion. If you do not affirmatively convert before the trial ends, your access to the paid features of the Services will be suspended and your Account will revert to the free tier (if available), and your Customer Data will be handled in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.
3.3 Upon conversion to a paid subscription, the full Terms of Service apply, including warranties, SLA, and indemnification provisions, from the date of conversion forward. These Trial Terms cease to apply.
3.4 If you do not provide a valid payment method before the trial ends, your Account will be deactivated, and you will lose access to the Services.
4. PROHIBITED USES
In addition to the restrictions in the Acceptable Use Policy, you must not:
- Use a free trial for production workloads, commercial purposes, or to provide services to third parties.
- Use a free trial to benchmark, test, or compare the Services against competitors.
- Create multiple trial Accounts to circumvent trial limits (we monitor for this and will terminate all associated Accounts).
- Use a trial to process large volumes of data, conduct load testing, or otherwise consume disproportionate resources.
5. TERMINATION
5.1 We may terminate a free trial immediately for violation of these Trial Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or where we reasonably determine the trial is being abused.
5.2 Upon termination, all Customer Data will be deleted in accordance with our Data Disposal Policy. No refund or credit is provided for terminated trials.
