For decades, enterprise software has helped people store information, connect systems, and automate processes. But the fundamental model has remained largely unchanged: software waits for people to tell it what to do.

AI makes something fundamentally different possible. Software can understand context, reason about problems, make decisions, and take action across the systems where work happens.

We believe this changes what enterprise software can be. The most valuable systems of the future won't simply give people better tools to operate a business. They'll understand the business itself and actively participate in running it.

This requires more than putting a model on top of existing software. Enterprise intelligence needs to understand the data, systems, people, processes, and relationships that make up a business.

And it needs to move beyond answering questions. Intelligence becomes valuable when it can reason about what needs to happen and take action.

Intelligence is infrastructure

Intelligence shouldn't be another application layered onto the enterprise. It should be part of the infrastructure every application can build upon.

Context creates intelligence

Models are only as useful as the context around them. Data, systems, relationships, history, and permissions give intelligence meaning.

Self-driving software

The next generation of software won't wait for instructions at every step. It will reason about what needs to happen and act within the boundaries people define.

Complexity should disappear

Software has become increasingly difficult to operate. We believe intelligent systems should absorb that complexity, not expose more.

The enterprise of the future won't be defined by how many applications it uses or how much data it collects. It will be defined by how effectively its software can understand and act on the complexity of the business.

This doesn't mean removing people from the enterprise. It means giving them software capable of carrying more of the operational complexity, so they can spend more time on judgment, creativity, and the decisions that matter.

Enterprise software has spent decades teaching people how to work around software. We think software should finally learn how to work for the enterprise.
