Domain Name Registration and Service Terms

These Domain Name Registration and Service Terms ("Domain Terms") govern your use of domain name registration, transfer, renewal, DNS hosting, and related services (the "Domain Services") provided by Frontal Labs, Inc. ("Frontal," "we," "us," or "our") through our platform. These Domain Terms supplement the Terms of Service. By registering, transferring, or renewing a domain name through Frontal, you agree to these Domain Terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. OUR ROLE

Frontal acts as a reseller and registrar service provider for domain name registration services. Domain names are registered through accredited domain name registrars, including Cloudflare, Inc. and Namecheap, Inc. (each a "Registrar Partner"). When you register a domain through Frontal, you are entering into a registration agreement with the applicable Registrar Partner. Frontal facilitates that registration but is not the registrar of record.

2. REGISTRATION

2.1 Registration Process

To register a domain name, you submit a registration request through the Services. Frontal forwards your request to the applicable Registrar Partner. Domain registration is not complete until the Registrar Partner confirms registration. We are not responsible for delays or failures by Registrar Partners or domain registries.

2.2 Registration Data

ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, requires accredited registrars to collect and maintain accurate contact information (WHOIS data) for each domain registrant. When you register a domain, you must provide accurate WHOIS contact information, including:

Registrant name, organization (if applicable), email address, postal address, and telephone number.
Administrative, technical, and billing contact information.

You must maintain accurate WHOIS data throughout the registration period. Providing false or inaccurate contact information is grounds for domain suspension or cancellation. We will use the information you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy. WHOIS data may be publicly accessible through WHOIS lookup services, subject to privacy or proxy services you may enable.

2.3 Availability

Domain name availability is determined by the applicable registry at the time of registration. Frontal makes no guarantee that a domain name displayed as available will be successfully registered. If a domain is registered by another party before your request is processed, we will notify you and refund any registration Fee paid.

2.4 Registration Term

Domain names are registered for the term you select (typically 1 to 10 years). The registration term begins on the date the registration is completed by the Registrar Partner.

3. DOMAIN MANAGEMENT

3.1 DNS Services. Frontal may provide DNS hosting services for domains registered through our platform. DNS services are subject to the DNS configuration you specify. You are responsible for the accuracy of your DNS configuration. Incorrect DNS configuration may cause your domain or associated services to be unreachable.

3.2 Domain Locking. We may implement domain locking to prevent unauthorized transfers. You may enable or disable transfer locks through the Services interface.

3.3 DNSSEC. DNSSEC may be supported for certain top-level domains. DNSSEC configuration is your responsibility. Incorrect DNSSEC configuration may cause your domain to be unreachable.

3.4 WHOIS Privacy. Where available, WHOIS privacy or proxy services may be offered. These services replace your contact information in public WHOIS records with anonymized contact information. WHOIS privacy is subject to availability by registry and may not be available for all top-level domains.

4. RENEWAL

4.1 Renewal Notices

We will send renewal reminder emails to the email address associated with your Account. Reminders are typically sent 30, 15, 7, and 1 day before the domain expiration date. You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address and for renewing your domain regardless of whether you receive renewal notices. Failure to receive a renewal notice (for any reason, including spam filtering or email delivery failure) does not relieve you of your obligation to renew.

4.2 Automatic Renewal

By default, domain name registrations are set to auto-renew. The renewal Fee will be charged to your default payment method at the then-current renewal price on the auto-renewal date. You may disable auto-renewal through the Services interface at least 7 days before the expiration date.

4.3 Manual Renewal

If auto-renewal is disabled, you must manually renew your domain before its expiration date. We may accept late renewals during any grace period offered by the applicable registry, but late renewal is not guaranteed, and additional fees may apply.

4.4 Expiration

If a domain is not renewed before its expiration date, it will expire according to the policies of the applicable registry and Registrar Partner. The typical expiration lifecycle is:

Expiration Date: Domain expires. Services associated with the domain may stop functioning.
Grace Period (0-45 days, varies by TLD): Domain may be renewed, usually at the standard renewal price. During this period, the domain may be parked or display advertisements.
Redemption Period (approximately 30 days, varies by TLD): Domain enters a redemption period. Renewal may still be possible but typically includes a significant redemption fee in addition to the renewal fee.
Pending Delete (5 days, varies by TLD): Domain is scheduled for deletion and cannot be renewed.
Release: Domain is released and becomes available for registration by the general public.

We are not responsible for any loss or damages resulting from domain expiration, regardless of the reason for non-renewal. Once a domain enters the redemption period, we cannot guarantee recovery.

5. TRANSFERS

5.1 Transfer to Frontal

You may transfer an existing domain to Frontal from another registrar. Domain transfers are governed by ICANN's Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy. To transfer a domain:

The domain must have been registered for at least 60 days (or have been transferred within the last 60 days).
The domain must be unlocked at the current registrar.
You must obtain the authorization code (EPP code) from the current registrar.
WHOIS privacy must be disabled at the current registrar.

Transfers typically complete within 5 to 7 days. We are not responsible for delays caused by the losing registrar, registry, or your failure to respond to transfer confirmation emails.

5.2 Transfer Away from Frontal

You may transfer a domain away from Frontal to another registrar. To transfer:

The domain must have been registered with Frontal for at least 60 days.
The domain must be unlocked in the Services interface.
You must obtain the authorization code through the Services interface.

We will process transfer-out requests in accordance with ICANN policy. We will not unreasonably delay or deny a transfer request.

6. FEES AND PAYMENT

6.1 Domain registration, renewal, and transfer Fees are published on our Site and in the Services interface. Fees vary by top-level domain (TLD). Fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Domain Terms.

6.2 Registration Fees are due at the time of registration. Renewal Fees are due before the expiration date.

6.3 We may change domain Fees at any time. Fee changes apply to new registrations and transfers immediately and to renewals occurring 30 or more days after notice.

6.4 Premium domain names, registry premium pricing, and sunrise or landrush registration phases may involve additional fees as disclosed at the time of registration.

7. DISPUTES

7.1 ICANN Dispute Resolution

Domain name registration is subject to ICANN's Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS). You agree to submit to proceedings under these policies for disputes regarding your domain name. Additional dispute policies may apply for specific TLDs.

7.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Frontal, our Registrar Partners, and the applicable domain registries from any third-party claim arising from your registration or use of a domain name in violation of a third party's trademark rights or applicable law, including claims for trademark infringement or cybersquatting. This indemnity does not extend to claims caused by Frontal's or our Registrar Partners' own negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of these Domain Terms.

8. COMPLIANCE WITH ICANN AND REGISTRY POLICIES

8.1 You agree to comply with all ICANN policies and the policies of the applicable domain registry, as they may be amended from time to time.

8.2 Frontal reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or transfer a domain name registration to comply with ICANN policies, registry requirements, law enforcement requests, court orders, or UDRP/URS decisions. We may also suspend or cancel a domain if we reasonably determine that the domain is being used for illegal activities, phishing, malware distribution, spam, or other abuse.

9. DISCLAIMER

DOMAIN SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT A DOMAIN NAME WILL BE AVAILABLE, THAT A REGISTRATION WILL BE SUCCESSFUL, THAT A DOMAIN WILL NOT BE SUSPENDED OR CANCELLED BY A REGISTRY OR REGISTRAR, OR THAT REGISTRATION, TRANSFER, OR RENEWAL WILL OCCUR WITHOUT ERROR OR DELAY. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THIRD-PARTY REGISTRIES, REGISTRARS, OR ICANN.
