Set up single sign on
Single sign on is available on plans that include it. Once it is enabled, people sign in through your identity provider rather than with a password.
Before you start
You need admin access to both the workspace and your identity provider, and a verified domain.
Connect the provider
- Open Settings, then Authentication.
- Choose your provider and copy the details it asks for into your identity provider.
- Paste the values it returns and save.
- Test with a single account before you enforce it.
Enforcing it
Enforcement blocks password sign in for everyone on your verified domain. Test first: an enforced connection with the wrong configuration locks out the whole workspace, and only an owner signing in another way can undo it.
Provisioning
User provisioning is separate from sign on. Turning on single sign on does not create or remove accounts on its own.
