Workflows

Workflows turn an intent into a versioned sequence of steps. They are designed for work that must survive restarts, wait for people or external systems, and report exactly where it stopped.

A workflow definition owns validation and compilation; the workflow runtime owns execution and recovery. That separation keeps the business process explicit without exposing internal runtime topology to users.

Use an agent as a workflow step where judgement helps. Keep calculations, policy checks, external writes, and transitions that must be exact as deterministic steps.
