Refresh, pause, or remove a sync

Refresh now

Open the source and choose Sync now. This is worth doing after a large change in the source system, when waiting for the schedule would be too slow.

Pause

Pausing stops new reads and leaves everything already synced in place. Use it while you are changing permissions or reorganising the source system, so a half finished change does not propagate.

Resume

A resumed sync catches up from where it stopped. If the pause was long, expect the first run afterwards to take longer than usual.

Remove

Removing a source deletes the data it brought across and revokes our access to it. Anything built on that data keeps working but has less to read from, so check what depends on it first.
