Where your data lives

Region

Every workspace is created in a storage region, and its data stays there. The region is set once, when the workspace is created, and cannot be changed afterwards. Teams with residency requirements should create the workspace in the right region rather than plan to move it.

What leaves the region

Operational metadata such as billing records and audit events is processed centrally. Your content, the data you sync, and the traces your agents produce stay in the workspace region.

Retention

Synced data is kept while the source is connected and deleted when it is removed. Traces are kept for the period your plan sets. Deleting a workspace deletes both.

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Encryption is not optional and cannot be turned off.
